LMFT
Fees - $175 application fee, $125 licensing fee plus cost of background check
A LMFT applicant must pass one of the following exams to qualify for licensure: The marital and family therapy examination of the Association of Marital and Family Therapy Regulatory Boards (AMFTRB); or The State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences’ Marriage and Family Therapist Written Clinical Examination.
LCSW
Fees - $460 application fee.
Clinical exam verification is required for all LCSW applications. It may be verified through previous state license verification, or ASWB score transfer system.
LPC
Fees - $175 application fee, $125 licensing fee plus cost of background check
Psychologist
Fees - $371.25 application and background check fee, $155 Jurisprudence Examination fee and $780 license fee
Application requirements vary based on if the Psychologist has been licensed for less than 15 years.
Endorsement applicants please note: Alabama will no longer transfer files. Colorado will no longer transfer files or complete licensure verification forms. California will not transfer transcripts or EPPP scores. Illinois will no longer transfer files. Virginia will no longer transfer files or complete licensure verification forms. Applicants whose original licensing state is Alabama, Colorado, Illinois, or Virginia will need to transfer a credentialing body file (ASPPB, ABPP, or National Register) or apply via the Standard Application Method.
